Thanks for yet another excellent TR. A Sierra couloir is one of my favorite places to spend a fine autumn day, and this TR reminds my why.

You are the man! This is art! Your ability to convey the range of emotions, from uncertainty and fear to triumph and satisfaction, and the sense of camaraderie, just seems to get better and better. Another great read from the Bard of r.c.

Thanks Dingus, Amazing TR. I've never saved a TR before, but this one is safely tucked away on my harddrive.

Annnnnd there it is...that 'C' word....One small word that can demand so much. The demons begin, taunting the will, with their siren's song of mortality and weakness...Ahhhhhhh, yes...the fear of pain and defeat, of injury and death...nothing that a good dose of commitment can't cure.

Dingus you tell a mean story...your sense of rhythm and timing is incredible

Thanks... The Rockrat...

Thanks for the well written proof ! That's the technique I wanna try after I realized recently that I often give up before starting a route.

Great TR, Dingus! One of those curious language things, though:

Here in the cold, wet UK a greenie is snot... curious image to take away from such a powerful piece of writing!
