Hi,
Does anyone here have a picture of a good, redundant top rope set up? I've looked and looked without any success.

P.S. Don't worry, I plan on taking the course for top-roping at the local climbing gym soon, certainly before I go climbing. I also have John Long's book and the Trailside book reserved from the library so I will be doing some good reading too.

Allen,
If you pick up the John Long anchors book, you should be all set. There is also an advanced anchor book by Long. The photos are fine in these books and the principles of natural anchors apply to tree/slung block/bumper hitch anchors.
Check your ring bend knots...
