Cool photo. I'm always impressed by people who can ride stuff like that 'without a training wheel.'

Actually there may be a climbing application. There are many climbing areas, such as Smith Rock where bicycles aren't allowed on the trails, and a unicycle could be just the ticket for hauling your gear to the climb. I've never ridden one with a pack though. And for really epic rides (rides longer than about 40 meters), I still need a 2 wheeler.
