good TR! care to tell a little more about the guide/client accident? is it in the ANAM ?

I didn't witness the accident, just the aftermath. One of the Denver newspapers had a write-up. If my memory serves me correctly, the client was on upper Keiners when he fell and slid over the edge of the Diamond. The guide apparently decided not to try to rescue him. He escaped the belay, then descended, leaving the client to die. All I saw was a body hanging on the rope.
I dunno. Anybody have the copy that covers the winter of '80?
