If you're buying plastic boots, the main problem is likely to be with the inner. You can solve this with a custom moulded inner. Any ski shop should do this for you.

I don't have extremely large feet but I have friends who have and do not have a problem finding great hiking boots. Which ones did you try and found uncomfortable?
