Can anyone tell me if Crowders or any other place in central NC (Stone, etc) is warm enough to climb? (I know warm enough is a relative term...)

Crowders will be all right in the 55-60 degree range if you dress warmly. You will want to climb on the red walls, outer walls , parts of david's castle, and the front of middle finger. The rock will be too cold in the gumbies roof area, ,car wall , practice wall ( once the sun is off it) ,

crowder's was excellent today. about fifty and sunny.....just chase the sun from red or ressurgence in the am to gumbies or secret service in the pm......also sauratown is gets good sun.........and rumbling bald is very doable on most any sunny day...... hope this helps.......D

Stone mtn was spectacular on thursday. high around 40, but the rock was reasonalby warm
