Mountaineering Boots for wide feet

I'm looking for suggestions on good quality mountaineering boots (preferably, but necessarily plastic boots) that will accomodate wide feet.

I have size 11EEE feet and am having difficulty finding boots that fit.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you're buying plastic boots, the main problem is likely to be with the inner. You can solve this with a custom moulded inner. Any ski shop should do this for you.

Yeah, that sounds exactly like my feet. Are your arches pretty flat?

Anyway, I have found both plastic and leather mountaineering boots that fit well, but only by trying on a whole bunch that didn't fit well. Just keep looking.

I currently have Scarpa Invernos and Montrail leather boots (I can't remember the exact model name).

I've got a 747 for a foot too and I wear Vasque H2's. Vasque offers great selection on wide sizes. I have some Asolo AFS 8000's for plastic doghouses and they're a bit narrow,but better than most I tried (koflach verts,lowa civetta,scarpa vega). The vegas were a close second but may not work for your sasquatch sized clubs.

Vasque and Montrail work on my 9.5 EE just fine.
