looking for climbing partner, so md

I'm a beginner climber looking for a climbing partner. If you're in southern MD, DC, or Baltimore, please let me know. If you've got an idea of a better place to find a partner, i'd appreciate hearing that too.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'southern MD'. Anyway, I'd start at the local gyms. Earth Treks is in Columbia, Sportrock I is in Rockville and Sportrock II is in Alexandria. Good Luck!

Where exactly are you? If you're located near the DC area and are at all interested in climbing outside, I'd try joining the Mountaineering Section of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club (http://patc.net/chapters/mtn_sect/). They have climbing trips almost every weekend during the warmer months, and do some ice climbing trips during the winter. It costs $15.00 per year to be a member.
