Yosemite Valley is a world-famous scenic location in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. It is the centerpiece of Yosemite National Park, attracting visitors from all parts of the globe. The Valley is the point of entry into the park for the majority of visitors, and a bustling hub of activity during “tourist season”, with an array of visitor facilities clustered in the middle.

Liv from petzlteam.com writes about her resent trip to the area and how she and Matt climbed the Leaning Tower

Leaning Tower is a steep and nice wall that is usually climbed in two days. We bivvied at the base of the route and did it in one day, satisfied and reassured of our ability to aid climb.

The Leaning Tower route is steep and strenuous but technically easy because of the many bolts and fixed pieces. The Leaning Tower’s airy start, steepness and strange rock texture give it a more ominous feel than the Prow, which is actually a little harder.
