I am finally getting a trip, albeit a very short one, to Colorado. Denver, that is. Actually more like Littleton, off of Dear Creek Canyon Road. My plan, flight schedules willing, is to get there by noon or so on this coming Wednesday. quick stop at the rental car place, and off I go.

So where should I go? What's close by? I'd like to find a place to boulder, at a minimum.

Long time lurker...first time poster.

Can't beleive no one has said Morrison yet. 15 min from Deer Creek Canyon Rd. Fun bouldering...even in the rain.

: It's the only place I've seen lots of bolted 5.7s!

Not to be a snob...but the name is North Table Top Mountain or Golden Cliffs.
www.rocklist.com has some info on this area in its dataguide. And I'd recommend Morrison if you like bouldering (Wisdom Simulator is an awesome V4) and the area is great in general. Eldo for trad, Clear Creek for sport, North Table Top Mountain/Golden Cliffs for 1 pitch sport. North Table is also great on cold days b/c it's south facing rock catches lots of sun and the undulating cliff (in and out) allows you to hide from the wind on certain routes. 'The Bent Gate' is a climbing shop in Golden that has beta on all these locales. Mountain Miser in Littleton (Broadway and Hampden) has the same beta and is closer to Denver.
