Perhaps one of the euro readers out there can help me...

When we were last in Paris, we stopped at Au Vieux Campeur (of course) and scoped the place. One of the things we came back with was several m of flat webbing in a cool design. No clue what we were going to do with it, but ... well, you know.

Now there's an intended use: make a belt (probably a couple). Unfortunately, the stuff is 30mm across, and no one in the US makes 30mm belt hardware (fastex buckles, camlocks, etc). I can't find 30mm hardware in google, either, but I don't really know how to search for non-English pages very well.

So ... does this stuff exist? The ideal item would be a 30mm version of

Help?

Thanks,

Au vieux campeur's paper catalog has a 30mm one like this: http://www.rei.com/online/store/ProductDisplay? productId=3080&storeId... atalogId=40000008000&langId=-1

for 1,20 You're looking for 'Boucles polyacetate' in general and Boucle ouverture rapide (YKK) from auvieuxcampeur.fr.

Chris,

You may have to demangle the following huge URL, but here is a link to a catalog page:
http://www.integraonline.com/~wyeastfabrics.com/cgi-bin/store/perlsho... Wy'East Fabrics Catalog - Hardware

Look down near the bottom of the page and you will find a belt buckle intended for 1.25' (31.75 mm) webbing. I think that's about as close as you'll get.

I believe 1.25 inch will work for 30mm webbing. Here's a site that might prove useful:
